Some employees violate a lot of requirements. The one I think that they violate the most, however, is being on time. Sure, things come up unexpectedly sometimes, but you can not use the same excuses. If I were an employer, I would fire someont that is always late to their shift. It is rude and it shows lack of responsibility. This not only happens in the work field, however. I see kids late to class everyday. Some people just do not care, and they will never be successful if they do not change.

In my opinion, the hardest interview question to answer was "If you were a piece of candy or candy bar, what would you be and why?" I found this difficult to answer because you had to think on the spot. It required you to be creative and talk about yourself in a different way.

Communication, attitude, job qualifications, and appearance are all important. However, the way I would rank them as follows: attitude, communication, appearance, and then job qualifications. I choose attitude as the number one thing that employers look at when interveiwing because I believe that that is the one thing that cannot be changed. You can be trained, you can be given better clothes and hygiene tips, and you can always improve your communication skills. The one thing that only you can change is your attitude, and if it is a bad one, no one will want to hire you. They do not want you to be the cause of bad ratings. Lastly, attitude, in my opinion, ties everything in.

I believe that wearing pajamas to school should not be allowed. If you showed up to an interview wearing a pair, I do not think anyone would hire you. Students that wear pjs to school come off as lazy to me. They do not care to make a good impression, and if they do not try to look presentable, they may not try at anything.

I believe that employers will not consider resumes with minor mistakes because they want the most professional job seeker there is. I think that perfection is overrated, considering there is no such thing as "perfect". However, I understand why an employer might throw away a resume that is not written out to thier idea of perfection.

In doing this project, I have found that, in my case anyways, finding a compatible job was much harder than finding a career. Don't get me wrong, it was challenging to find both, but my career, so to speak, popped up right away. One interesting fact about the job I choose is that at Culver's, the weight staff must be able to lift twenty pounds at the minimum. I found this interesting because you would not think firsthand about unloading foods and supplies needed to run the restaurant.

It may not seem as though working at an ice cream place can help me become a Head Start Teacher, but in all reality, it can. I will be able to gain people skills. I will also be able to deal with others issues, even if there is a vast difference in the complaint, and answers questions that people may have.
