In my opinion, the moral of The Farmers Donkey is to never give up and keep on trying to overcome the obstacles life throws at you.

Out of the seven rules I learned about, I liked rule #6 the best. It talked about the power of discipline, which I find very important. You need to know what to strive for. You need to stay healthy. But most of all, you need to have rules for yourself. I find this extremely important, which is why I choose this rule.

In school, science is my most troblesome subject. It is very challenging, even though I am in the advanced class. I cope with this by simply studying hard and putting my science work above other things I need to do. This way, I can make sure that I always understand what is going on

My mom is very imprtant to me. She is always caring, which I believe is her best characteristic. Being kind when working with three and four year olds is very important, and luckily it comes naturally to her. In my personal life, she encourages and supports me in everything I do. My mom can strict at times, but she only cracks the whip because she cares.
My dad is also near and dear to my heart. He understands me, and is always there to talk. He picks me up from dance everyday, and never complains. He is funny, and we are very close. He works hard to support us, and cares for us all.

My number one goal at this point of my life is to graduate with a grade point average of 4.0. Grades are super important to me and I am always doing my best in school. In this case, I want all of my hard work and efforts rewarded. A 4.0 is rewarding in itself, and that is what I am shooting for these next four years.

What surprises me the most out of some statistics I have reviewed is that 45% of college students do not receive a degree in Michigan. That means that through six years of college,55% will earn a degree. Michigan isn't even the state with the highest drop out rate. In Massachusetts, only 31 out of 100 students will recieve a Batchlors degree or higher. This scares me because it means that teachers and students alike do not put in enough effort for success.

I am a Perfect Melancholy. I agree with this definition because I am a smart, musical person and I am quiet. I always try to stay out of the center of attention. I am a great thinker and am willing to make sacrifices for the sake of others. I believe that my friends, family, and teachers would describe as a perfect melancholy as well.

One personal strength of mine is that I am a perfectionist, being that I want everything about and around me to be done in the best way possible. I am always trying to get things right, and a bad grade is not acceptable to me.

On the other hand, one of my weaknesses would be that I am sometimes insecure about myself, and that can cause struggles in my daily life. I often lack self confidence. I am also very sensitive, and when someone else is down, I hurt for them.
