If I could select my preferred job, being in high school, I would choose to work at an ice cream place, like Baskin Robins or Dairy Queen. I love ice cream, and I could get a discount on it.  I am a cheerful person, so I think I would be good at giving the customers the best service possible. Also, I am good at math and would be able to work the cashier. The only downside would be that I have a very busy schedule, and I don't know when I'd be able to put in enough hours to secure a job. But honestly, it wouldn't be that bad, as long as I made money and got cheap ice cream. Although for now, babysitting is all I've got and it gets the job done.

I am pretty proud of myself as far as grades go right now. I have all A's, some higher than others. Currently, my lowest grade is a 96%, and that is in both History and Language Arts. I need to make sure that I get my absent work, because that is what costs me in History. Also, in Language Arts, I need to make sure that I read a question that is asked thoroughly and completely understand what it is asking. Other than that, this 2nd trimester is going great!

I find this story very heart warming. In a softball playoff game, a batter hit her very first homerun. However, she had a knee injury and was unable to run the bases. In an act of kindness, two players carried her around the bases, practically eliminating themselves from the playoffs. It does upset me a little, however, that the news report finds this "unbelieveable". The team members were doing what was right. It's sad that this sticks out, because these kinds of things should always happen anyways.

Neil's three a's of awesome are attitude, awareness, and authencity. Something I personally consider awesome and take for granted is waking up every morning in a warm bed.

In my opinion, the moral of The Farmers Donkey is to never give up and keep on trying to overcome the obstacles life throws at you.

Out of the seven rules I learned about, I liked rule #6 the best. It talked about the power of discipline, which I find very important. You need to know what to strive for. You need to stay healthy. But most of all, you need to have rules for yourself. I find this extremely important, which is why I choose this rule.

In school, science is my most troblesome subject. It is very challenging, even though I am in the advanced class. I cope with this by simply studying hard and putting my science work above other things I need to do. This way, I can make sure that I always understand what is going on

My mom is very imprtant to me. She is always caring, which I believe is her best characteristic. Being kind when working with three and four year olds is very important, and luckily it comes naturally to her. In my personal life, she encourages and supports me in everything I do. My mom can strict at times, but she only cracks the whip because she cares.
My dad is also near and dear to my heart. He understands me, and is always there to talk. He picks me up from dance everyday, and never complains. He is funny, and we are very close. He works hard to support us, and cares for us all.

My number one goal at this point of my life is to graduate with a grade point average of 4.0. Grades are super important to me and I am always doing my best in school. In this case, I want all of my hard work and efforts rewarded. A 4.0 is rewarding in itself, and that is what I am shooting for these next four years.
